Project Overview

This building is surrounded by water on all sides, serving as a prime example of the harmonious integration between natural landscapes and modern architecture, thereby creating a comfortable and beautiful office environment.

The core design element of this workspace revolves around ‘water’, with the entire space embodying the fluidity of water. Openness is the defining feature here; whether it’s the work areas or the third spaces, working in this setting feels like attending a gathering where people engage in joyful communication and foster mutual trust among one another.

Customer Profile

WPG was established in 2007, dedicated to providing customers with industry-leading full-scenario solutions for the ‘supply-drainage-purification-management’ process. Its business covers areas such as water source sites, intelligent water treatment plants, urban pipeline scheduling, and direct drinking water, striving to become a trusted partner for clients in the water supply and hydraulic engineering sectors.

The office environment influences people’s behavior, and when the environment is conducive enough, employees will continuously tap into their potential to achieve goals. How can the environment be maximized to its fullest extent?

An ideal office environment is more like a party where the atmosphere is relaxed, making people feel happy and at ease, fostering a high level of trust among individuals and encouraging open and sincere communication.

Office ‘Party’: Encouraging Communication

Data indicates that a rise in the number of interactions among staff members can have a direct effect on their creativity. 

The open office area, regardless of level and department, is conducive to equal communication among employees and allows for smooth information flow.

The storage racks next to the workstations, where employees can place their personal belongings, bring convenience to employees and also make the office space more tidy.

It's worth noting that executives also work in the open area, where the flattening of organisations is becoming a trend, and where the affinity of the leader means the cohesion of the team.

Meeting & training rooms: efficient  

Meeting rooms of different sizes and shapes are available to meet the meeting needs of different businesses and teams.

WPG is a progressive learning team, so for the training room, we chose to use a bright yellow colour, which is more motivating for the staff to learn; Tables that can be flexibly moved and folded will redefine this space.

These chairs from the FourDesign series are equipped with writing boards to hold laptops, computers, etc.; this chair comes with sliding casters so that users can easily move it around for group discussions. 

Shared "parties": stimulating creativity

The open and relaxed office environment stimulates the activity and motivation of the employees.

In the third space, employees can communicate freely and collaborate happily, thus realising innovation, which is the most important tool for companies.

Most of the space uses natural light to save energy consumption, and with the large transparent glass, people can enjoy the scenery outside the window...
