Project Overview

Here is the office of a leading hard technology enterprise, pursuing ‘efficiency’ and ‘flexibility’. Therefore, modular sofas and quickly assembled and movable screens are used as the main characters in the open collaboration area. These agile furniture products make discussions and meetings among employees extremely convenient and relaxed, thereby helping the company achieve its efficiency goals.

Customer Profile

This is a leading enterprise in the technology industry, founded in 1987. It is a global leader in ICT (Information and Communication Technology) infrastructure and smart terminal providers. With 207,000 employees across over 170 countries and regions, it serves more than 3 billion people worldwide.

Dynamic Space

NOVAH’s investigation and statistics found that collaboration accounts for about one-third of an employee’s 8-hour workday. A significant part of this is open discussion and communication. Under such circumstances, what kind of office space can meet the flexible and variable collaboration needs of employees?

In this project, we selected two products, Chalet and Fabricks, to construct efficient and flexible collaboration spaces in the open areas near workstations. These spaces provide a certain level of visual and acoustic privacy, allowing employees to instantly conduct impromptu meetings or discussions.

The Chalet Collaborative Sofa is like a series of beachfront chalets, with high-performance rebound sponge material and curved backrest design, providing users with an excellent sitting posture experience. It’s as if you’re on a sunny beach with gentle waves lapping at your body. Within the limited office space, it sparks boundless inspiration.

Fabricks is a floating island that supports a small house, featuring visual obstruction and good sound absorption. It is like lush foliage surrounding the house, providing a sense of security and comfort to the staff inside while avoiding feelings of being overly enclosed or oppressive. It is a ‘dynamic island’ within the office space.

Office or Club?

‘Our fatigue is often not due to the work itself, but rather from worry, tension, and unhappiness,’ research shows that a healthier and more comfortable work environment plays a very significant role in improving negative emotions and enhancing efficiency.

The leisure area uses comfortable Four Sure 105 seats and Four Me Wood seats, providing a more comfortable sitting experience and facilitating smooth conversations among staff. The office can also be a small social club.

Privacy

In the workplace, people also need some private space to meet their needs for personal focus/private communication.

In this project, we chose Cube and Fabricks to construct a semi-private space, equipped with work power supply, creating a sense of full security. It is suitable for individual focused work as well as private communication among 2-4 people.

Fabricks are colorful ‘bricks’ that office workers can easily disassemble and assemble, allowing them to build anywhere in the office at any time to enhance privacy.

Decision

In the high-technology industry, formal meeting spaces are indispensable, and decisions made in formal meetings often relate to the development direction of the enterprise.

In the meeting room, AiX chairs are used. The chair structure conforms to ergonomics, so even if you sit for a long time, you will not feel body soreness. This allows employees to maintain deep focus for a longer period of time.
